I am always on the search
for easy and fast meal ideas and awhile back I came across a pin on
Pinterest about a One Pot Wonder Tomato Basil Recipe. As I was trying it out, I
fell in love with the idea just needing one pot to either have an
easy lunch or dinner.
After some experimenting, I created some
yummy yummy in my tummy easy One Pot recipes. Today I want to share
my family's favorite with all of you.
Garlic Parmesan Noodles
all in one pot and it only takes you 20 minutes to prep and cook!
Prep time: 5 min
Cook time: 15 min
Total time: 20 min
1 – 2 tbsp garlic, finely chopped
2 cups water
1-2 vegetable bouillon cubes or 1 – 2 tsp of bouillon powder
1 cup milk (cream or half and half works, too)
½ tsp salt
¼ – ½ tsp black pepper
2 – 3 tbsp parsley, fresh, chopped
2 tbsp butter
8 oz noodles (any kind works, we prefer faralle or spaghetti)
½ cup Parmesan cheese
What you will also need:
- medium pot
- measuring cup
- measuring spoons
- cutting board
- knife
- tongs
At first you start by
chopping your garlic and then cooking it in the hot olive oil. Don't
brown or burn it, just let it get aromatic and a little golden on the
edges.
Add the two cups of water
and your vegetable bouillon cube or bouillon powder, then add milk,
salt, pepper, parsley, butter and noodles.
Turn the heat down, add the
lid and let cook for 10-15min or until noodles are tender.
You can either mix the
Parmesan under the noodles or you can sprinkle each portion
individually. Top with fresh parsley and
enjoy :)
It is a super simple recipe,
and a plus: It's vegetarian and my husband loves it!
How does your family like
this recipe?
