So I am back with another review - this time for Wet Rubz new Organic Marinade blend! I am excited because Wet Rubz reached out to me and asked me to review their newest flavor, Organic Sesame Sriracha Sauce.
This sauce sauce has hints of toasted sesame oil, citrus, ginger and brown sugar that are paired perfectly with garlic, onion and gluten-free tamari sauce. Then they turn up the volume of the sauce and add a hint of red hot jalapeno to make this unique flavor that sucks you in.
Just like their original marinade blend, this sauce is great topped onto salad and slaw, grilled vegetables or tofu, and you can add to your stir fry, glaze your fish dishes, beef, chicken or pork, drizzle onto fried calamari, spice up a sandwich or simply use it as a dipping sauce! This product really has no boundaries!
This flavor is definitely an unique one. I am all for spicy sauces and such and this one is definitely a good one.
When I reviewed Wet Rubz first marinade, I was able to barbecue chicken that I had marinaded for a few days and boy was it amazing! This time around, I wanted nothing more than to do that again but was unable to -- we now live in Georgia and with the wonderful weather out here, it has been constantly raining and very unpredictable.
So I had to scratch that idea and use this as a Dip for some chicken nuggets and I also used it as a salad dressing. As a dip, it was great! I usually use a spicy BBQ sauce for my dips with chicken nuggets and this was very similar.
I liked the consistency and how the flavors tasted with just a little spice.
As a salad dressing, it was good but would not be my first choice. I feel like it is more of a sauce than dressing, just on flavor alone. Maybe I am just not used to a spiced salad dressing? Or maybe it is my very pregnant (40 weeks!!!) taste buds are playing tricks on me?
I am not sure, but I gave it a try and I would much rather it as a dip or marinade.
If you are inclined to try it out as a salad dressing, I have written out the sweet and simple spinach salad that I made. The flavors were all great and contrasted each other well.
Sweet and Simple Spinach Salad (side salad amounts)
Handful of Spinach (or however much you would normally use)
3-4 Strawberries sliced
Pinch of Feta Cheese (or any soft cheese would work)
Drizzle of Dressing
Mix it all up in a bowl and Enjoy!
Just as when I reviewed Wet Rubz Marinade before, not much has changed with them! Their product is still all Organic and natural.
A very exciting thing about the Sesame Sriracha Sauce is that it is an rich sauce with Asian flavor notes that is gluten-free, as well as dairy-free, vegan, and certified Kosher, making this an excellent choice for those preparing meals for people on several different restricted diets.
They are selling their products mainly in stores based out of California. I suggest sending them a quick email and asking them to bring their delicious product to a store near you! I know I am going to ask them to do so.
You can also purchase directly from Wet Rubz by contacting them at wetrubz@aaorganics.com or by phone at 831-768-0300. The cost will be $7.99 per bottle plus shipping and handling.

The new sauce sounds really interesting, and I like the idea of it being used on salad - although I think I'd be more inclined to try it with an Asian style salad. I bet it'd be really good as a stir fry sauce, too!
