Sweeping. It's not the worst on the chore list, but it can be tedious. Unless you live in my house, where the is very little linoleum and a whole lot of carpet. There may be less to sweep, but food still finds it way to the floor, stepped on and ground in.
Rude. The usual protocol is to sweep, and kick at the - let's be honest, who knows what that is - and scuff the floor instead.
Turn-It-Over Broom can help!
Its built-in scraper easily removes stuck dirt. The scraper is made of abrasive-resistant ABS plastic and doesn't scratch linoleum, tile, parquet or other delicate floors. No need for the kick-and-scuff-shuffle (I'll have to trademark that!), or getting on your knees to fight last night's dinner. Instead, use Turn-It-Over Broom!
The idea is simple - flip the broom over to the scraper side, get up the gunk, flip it back and keep sweeping.

"Kids drop and spill food. Somebody steps on it. The dirt sticks to the floor. This has been a part of my personal experience. I always thought there should be some solution, somewhere in retail. It turned out there were some heavy-duty scraper brooms for industrial use – and nothing for home and kitchen. I decided to do something about it. So, after 2 years spent you see what you see here. Happy cleaning!
When ordering my Turn-It-Over Broom, I had a choice of 3 colors, turquoise, orange, and blue. I chose blue. The picture shows exactly what you get, a yellow broom with the top, base and bristles in the color you choice.
The bristles are thick and firm, which makes me think it will hold up for a long time. However, the handle topper had no end cap. It is smooth with no rough edges but I keep thinking- what if I drop something down inside and I don't get it back?
When I unpacked the Turn It Over Broom I noticed a mostly yellow broom with a blue handle topper, blue base and blue bristles. The broom is very nice, but I was disappointed in the color - the yellow was more prominent than I'd expected.
Then I thought to myself, did I get this for the color, or its sweep and scrape power?
To test out my new broom I looked in vain for something stuck to the floor. For the first time, nothing! So I made a sticker from some tape, swept the area and flipped the broom to quickly scrape up the tape. It was super easy and did what it was supposed to.
This broom also held up to the spider challenge. Yup, spider. It was up in the corner of the room and my stepson was able to get it and sweep it outside. Yay!
After working with the Turn-It-Over Broom, I do think one thing that would help, especially for smaller kitchens and bathrooms like mine, would be to have a scraper on the edge of the broom to fit in corners. There were some areas I simply couldn't get to, and that's where the gunk tends to stick. Darn small kitchens!
In spite of that, this broom is an inexpensive option that will hold up for a long time and makes quick work of an annoying problem
You can order your own broom directly through the Turn It Over Broom Website or via Amazon. They even provide a 30 days money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, and usually ship within 2 business days catering to US and Canada only.

ReplyDeleteI like the blue one
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Turquoise! Among my many cleaning problems (that I think the Turn-It-Over Broom could help with would be especially in the kitchen we COOK a lot ~ and we also prepare a lot of food/dishes in our own kitchen for a local soup kitchen and we are often in a major hurry. SPILLS HAPPEN A LOT and because we are rushing around we sometimes don't get to clean up until we get back ~ hours later! We come home tired and find spilled food dried on the floor, usually with some cat fur now glued into it. It is such a drag to them have to get on our hands and knees and scrub! Thanks
