Review/Giveaway: Mia Tempo Winter Box

Being a full time mother to a newborn and toddler is the most rewarding job anyone could ask for, but it's also one of the messiest, most exhausting thrills in life as well. I think it goes without saying that 'Me time' is far and few in between for me these days. I might have some time to myself while my girls are sleeping but that also brings me to my point where I can't really go many places either in between naps, meals, playtime and more.

When I found out there was a way I could fully immerse in relaxation at home with a Mia Tempo Anytime Box, maybe even during a long nap time or once the girls were in bed, I was extremely excited!

I had virtually killed off the thought that I could have any type of calming spa time in the near future so when my Mia Tempo Winter Box was ordered I waited with great anticipation for its arrival.

"Mia Tempo" actually means 'My Time' in Italian, which is exactly what I was ready to enjoy when the package was delivered.

Once I opened the Mia Tempo package there was a beautifully crafted box with a peacock and flowers all over it.

When I opened it I was pleasantly surprised to find a small instruction card right on the top on how to get the best spa experience out of your 'Me Box'. This made it extremely easy to relax and let the card direct me on what to do.

The box itself comes with everything from lotions, teas, candles, hand creams, bath bombs, and much more.

First thing I personally did was warm up water for my tea so it could steep while I was preparing my bath. I was very intrigued upon opening the tea box because where you would usually find a tea bag there were actually two-4D shaped pyramid tea diffusers.

I had the choice between ginger-lemon grass or white ambrosia, which is the one I decided to drink. The White ambrosia tea had hints of coconut and vanilla and was very mild and enjoyable during my relaxation time.

   Once my tea was ready I grabbed my Mia Tempo box and brought it to the bathroom with me to start my bath.

The box comes with a Pink Himalayan salt candle holder, plus 2 tea candles. It is absolutely beautiful! It literally gives off a feeling of relaxation and peace and the holder looks like a pink crystal. It was a really great touch to the spa experience.

The box also came with a Beau Bain Bubble Bath Cupcake bomb that smelled exactly like a real vanilla cupcake as it dissolved into my bath.

At this point I felt extremely relaxed and care-free. The cupcake bomb and scrubbing my body with the EcoPouf Dual Cleansing Pad that was included in the package gets all of the credit for leaving my skin refreshed and smelling really tasty!

In a cute little woven bag, I had the choice between two different hand creams to use after getting out of the bath, honey almond and vanilla bean.

I chose honey almond to use, and after putting on the Ecotools Spa Moisture Gloves for about forty-five minutes my hands were so soft and moisturized.

Since the bag comes with two hand creams I will have an extra packet for another time.

The hand cream bag also has an extra tea light candle and I really feel like you are getting quite a lot of stuff for your money in this pampering box.

   To wrap up my Mia Tempo spa experience I used the firefly sparkle lotion made with vanilla, lemon, and patchouli with golden sunshine glitter which I found actually does make your skin lightly shine and sparkle.

The lotion smells of light vanilla incense and is very rich in texture so a little bit goes a long way. I think it's great that Mia Tempo gives you a full sized bottle of this lotion to enjoy far past your spa day experience.

I have spent hundreds of dollars on spa days at professional salons and that being said, I truly enjoyed being able to relax on the level that the Winter Box Provided for me in the comfort of my own home.

There's something about getting a full spa experience at home, not having to get up and go anywhere, that really appeals to me.

I look forward from ordering another Mia Tempo box in the future and seeing what other packages they have to offer.
