Meet Lauren

Good day to you all! My name is Lauren Murray and I'd like to tell you all a little bit about myself.

If you were to step inside my world for a day you would learn that I have a rambunctious, 7 year old daughter who is too smart for her own good. I am married to a wonderful man who also happens to be a Sergeant in the United States Army. We've been married for 13 years! Can you believe it? Dang, I'm getting old.

We have quite the little zoo at our house with two small dogs, Augustus and Achilles, and four chickens, Rose, Prairie, Freya and Mrs. Patmore!

My home is filled with things that make me happy. I have a love for vintage Halloween decorations and my kitchen reflects that year round.

I am obsessed with Pinterest! If you follow my boards, I can honestly say that I have cooked at least 50% of the recipes I pin, sewn 50% of the projects in my sewing board, and drooled over all the rest! I love being creative and feel like a day has been wasted if I haven't "handmade" something.

I was born and raised amongst the beautiful Wasatch Mountains of Utah and after that had a 13 year stint in Northern Idaho, surrounded by the beautiful lakes. I love nature, forests, rivers and mountains!

We just bought our first home in Texas and I love having my own home!

When I'm not busy chasing after my daughter, sewing, or cooking up creative meals, I love to watch BBC dramas like Sherlock and Downton Abbey. I am obsessed with all things British! Tea Time is a regular thing in my house so you will often read tea related reviews from me.
