Hey ya’ll. My name is Jackie Snider. I am the founder of Reviews, Chews & How-Tos.
I created this site for many reasons. A big one is simply that I love to write. I was the crazy one in school that loved essays. I loved the research, I loved the brainstorming process, and I loved the editing.
The other big reason is that I am a big believer in small business.
I know first hand that personal reviews can help grow an audience unlike any for a business trying to make itself known. Whenever I buy something, I skip right over the company’s product description and head straight for the real consumer reviews. That’s where you are going to find the truth.
I've had a lot of fun bringing together several people to write for RCHReviews, so that we have a good range of opinions and viewpoints.
So, who am I? I am a 20 something wife, with a 5 year old daughter named Hailey, and brand new baby girl with whom I stay home. I was raised as a military brat, primarily on the east coast. I married my high school sweetheart who went on to join the United States Army, making me a military spouse.
Penelope, to whom I gave birth at home this past September, was born with Bilateral Clubfoot, a birth defect effecting the bone structure of the feet. It has been quite a journey with that!
We have one large dog, Angel. She is our old girl who is very sweet and lovable.
I tend to take on way too much work, but I like it that way.
I own my own business, Three Purple Monkeys, where I mostly make custom repurposed wet wipe cases, among other things.
I love anything homemade, whether it be clothes, or bags, or products, etc. I am a huge foodie and a big fan of trying new things. I love to do crafts with my older daughter, Hailey.
I also am a big fan of personal space, and alone time. Sitting down with a new movie or a favorite TV show is among my favorite ways to pass the time.
Music is also a big part of my life. I have to admit, that I mostly enjoy top 40, but I love being introduced to new exciting bands. My favorite band of all time is Hanson. No shame.
