Review/Giveaway: Zim’s Max Arnica Homeopathic Roll-On

Many of us know the struggle of how difficult it is to find naturally-based products that actually work. There is a wonderful variety out there but unfortunately, a lot of them don’t live up to the expectations that we have when reading their advertisements.

I got the chance to review the Zim’s Max Arnica Homeopathic Roll-On – a convenient and quick way to relieve muscle and joint pains.

Zim’s says they are "dedicated to bringing you innovative naturally-based products that live up to their brand promise in every way. Our goal is to improve the lives of consumers with our brands that include over 25 products that are packed with the best of nature and range from skin care to pain relief gels."

Zim's started over 60 years ago with the creation of Zim's Crack Crème by a pharmacist in Austintown, Ohio, designed to help local cement workers deal with job related dry, cracked skin.
Today, the Zim’s Brand has expanded to over 25 products. They make lotions, cremes, pain relief gels, diabetic care items, and many more. Their products are also not tested on animals and are made in the US.

My family lives a very natural lifestyle, and I personally try to avoid any pharmaceuticals that I do not necessarily need.

When I read up on Zim’s Max Arnica Homeopathic Roll-on I was quite pleased with all the positive feedback people gave, but in the end I am the kind of person that needs to try stuff like that for herself.

My main plan was to use it on my knee. I’ve had issues with my knee for several years now and there has been no real improvement and pain management consisted of the suggestion to just take painkillers as needed.

I don’t like pain killers, so this seemed like a great opportunity to see what Zim’s can do.

The ingredients for Zim's Max Arnica Homeopathic Roll-On are aloe, arnica montana, caledula officinalis and bellis perrenis.

Arnica (Arnica montana) is a plant that grows in mountainous areas, and can be found in the northern United States, Canada and the European Alps. It is called "mountain daisy" because of its bright yellow or orange daisy-like flower. The flowers and root are used traditionally to prepare topical remedies for relief of pain.

Arnica has active ingredients that assist the normal healing processes of the body's immune system.

But now the question of all questions (and the one that I strive to answer for you with personal experience!):

DOES IT EVEN WORK?

I honestly feel like it does.

When you apply Zim’s you will notice a cooling sensation – which to me is already comfort bringing and soothing - and a mint-eucalyptus like smell.

To relieve the actual pain however, it took about 20/25 minutes but then I did feel a difference. My joint still made popping noises when moving my leg and felt ‘weird’ to put weight on it but the constant dull ache that I have every day was barely there.

When I bend my knee, I usually feel a sharp pain as if a nerve is getting pinched, but even that was not as painful as it used to.

I also used it on my hip and lower back with the same results.

However, the effect does not last very long. I had that great relief for about two hours and came to the conclusion that it’s probably not the best product if you plan to treat a permanent issue.  They also make an arnica roll-on that doesn't include the word 'homeopathic' but don't explain the differences where I could find.

It’s really amazing for temporary issues though and has become a permanent product in my purse for the small bumps and in case my back acts up when we are out of the house.

The roll on is also something that makes it just very, very convenient and so quick to use.

Available on their website for $9.99 for a 3fl oz bottle, I think the price is very reasonable. It doesn’t use a lot when you roll it on, so you should get a lot of use out of that one bottle.  Zim's products are also available on Amazon.

On the bottle you will read that you should ask your doctor before using it on children under 12 years of age. At my daughter's last check-up, I addressed this with her Care Provider and our doctor did not have any concerns about us using this product with the children as well, but you should definitely address this with your own doctor!

My children like it as much as I do for minor aches. My son was not too pleased with the smell at first but came around to liking its affect so much that the smell does not bother him any longer.

My overall opinion of Zim's Max Arnica Homeopathic Roll-On:  I like it!

For myself, I use it only occasionally, but my children always bump into things or come home with bruises and booboos, and it's great to have a simple way of dealing with them.

The roll-on is something that makes this product very convenient and quick to use. It also seems to apply just the right amount to the area.

  24. As for me, I prefer CBD roll-on. have you tried it? Some studies—both preclinical animal and human clinical trials—suggest CBD could be used to help treat people who are dependent on opioids.

  26. Supplements are cool, especially those that contain marijuana. But sometimes I want to smoke weed without bothering to prepare for this process. If you also like to smoke cigarettes, but don't like messing with the process of making them, I advise you to take a look https://westcoastbud.io/products/edibles/ pre-rolling options. In my opinion, this is very convenient and saves you time.
