Awesome Life Friday #6

Hi, everyone!  It's time for Awesome Life Friday!  Before we begin the festivities, here's a fast look at what we've been up to here, in case you missed it.

Miss B's sells these little morsels soaked in rum, bourbon, cognac or whiskey.  Yum!

This bowl is not only self-filling and thermal to keep water cool, but it is also filtered and let's you transport fresh water without spills.  Two of these will be given away in the Giveaway, and it's open worldwide!

Another Giveaway open worldwide, this pretty brown and jade set of jewelry is made of food-grade silicone and provides safe and soothing teething comfort for babies and toddlers.

Jackie combed our archive of reviewed items for those she'd enjoy giving or getting for Valentine's Day.  If you're looking for some 'off the beaten path' ideas, you might just find  them here!

In addition to the two Giveaways already mentioned, you've still got a few days to enter to win an All-in-One Cloth Diaper in your choice of available fabrics from EcoAble.  This one's for US residents only.

This Week's Features!

This week we chose four featured posts (and it easily could have been 12) - so many great things were shared, and we can't wait to see what you've got for us this time!

Auto-Immune Protocol is a highly restricted diet, and you might think that could make for some sad recipes - but this one is amazing, with three kinds of seafood, fennel and turnips, a deft hand with herbs, and coconut milk.  Delicious!

If you've ever been on a family vacation, you'll love this entry - we chose it almost entirely for its wonderful and funny recounting of a family's (mis)adventures in Hawaii.  That you will also find a priceless tip on at least one thing NOT to do while there is an added bonus.

An insightful and gently humorous essay pointing out that commercials that mock breastfeeding advocates are there to sell a product by disparaging the alternative.

This sweet tutorial turns simple lollipops into cute Valentines, perfect for giving or as a display. Don't you love easy projects that have high impact like this?

Congratulations to our Featured posters and thanks again for sharing!

And now it's YOUR Turn!

We look forward to seeing what is making your life awesome this week!

Share with us whatever is currently making your life awesome - recipes, crafts, how-tos, personal essays, round ups, giveaways or product reviews, we'd love to hear about it.

Our rules are simple. We ask that:

  • you follow us in some way (Facebook, Bloglovin', Twitter, Pinterest, etc)
  • give us a link back (in your post, side bar, or a blog hop list)
  • keep your posts new - sometime within the last couple of weeks
  • don't repost something you shared last week

In order to be Featured, the post will need to be no more than two weeks old and contain a link back we can find.  All posts that are qualified to be Featured will also be pinned on our Awesome Life Friday Pinterest Board.

Of course, we love comments, and please go visit a few other linked up posts while you're here!

Finally, if you want to be sure never to miss Awesome Life Friday's start time, sign up for our Newsletter!

Have fun, and thank you for sharing!
