Review: Rodan + Fields Dermatologists

Words cannot express how perfect this next review was for me. I had the immense pleasure of getting to try three different products from Rodan + Fields Dermatologists. In a few pleasant exchanges between Camille Vickers Jones and myself, I explained my skin issues and concerns and she promptly knew exactly what I needed. After she told me she was shipping it out, it took only 3 days to receive it! I was very impressed by how quick and efficient she was.

"Mac" & Cheese with Ground Beef & Corn

 

So... one of the things I made last week was an experiment I'd been wanting to try for awhile.  One of my childhood comfort foods (which became one of my kids' comfort foods in turn, and which they are also passing on to their own) is Macaroni and Cheese - specifically the Kraft blue box - with cooked ground beef and corn stirred in.

Italian Chicken Thighs with Zucchini and Tomatoes

We picked up some zucchini the other day, and I used it along with some lovely chicken thighs the farm where we get our meat had (that was a nice change of pace - I mostly buy whole chickens from them, but they hard parts packaged up, so we took advantage of the opportunity to get some).

Cherry Berry Clafouti

This is a lovely, cooling dessert that tastes like a lot more effort than it takes to actually pull together.  Clafouti tastes a lot like a cross between a puffy baked pancake and an egg custard to me, with fruit!  Add some fresh whipped cream and mmm...
