Review/Giveaway- Ecoable velcro All-in-one Cloth Diaper

I have had such a great joy working with Marina Shafran of EcoAbles Cloth Diapers over the last year. I have done 4 reviews in the past, this being the 5th. Every email conversation with her is so pleasant and quickly answered. It is abundantly clear how much she cares about the product and customers. I have had very little to say about EcoAbles that wasn’t stellar, and any bits I have criticized, she took into consideration and used it to better the brand. I admire that so greatly.

This week, I will be talking about Ecoable’s All-in-one with a Velcro closure. I have reviewed their AIO before, but it was with snap closures.

Admittedly, I tend to stay so very far away from Velcro diapers, for a few reasons. One main reason is that cleaning velcro is a pain in the butt. Hair and fuzz and lint and who knows what else normally takes up residence in them, forcing you to painfully pick at it until your fingertips are numb, or they will no longer stick together.

Also, it usually wears out much quicker and will need repair, just from frequent use. I believe snaps have a longer lifespan.

I was sure I would still like it, but I wasn’t aware that I would LOVE it!! Though, being an EcoAble product, I shouldn’t be surprised.

I chose a minky chevron print. I adore minky diapers so much. I just think they look fluffier and warmer on the baby’s bottom. When it arrived, is was so buttery soft, and the neon colors were so vibrant, I couldn’t wait to put it into rotation. After a quick wash to rinse off ‘the factory’ it was put to use.

It fits so wonderfully. I’ve seen Velcro diapers like this, but never owned any. Typical Velcro diapers have small aplix jutting off the tabs to touch each other or rest on a strip of Velcro on the body of the diaper.

This had wide tabs that overlapped, not leaving any Velcro exposed to scratch bellies or wear down quicker. I can only imagine how much more comfortable this style must be for the little ones as they are moving around.

As always is the case, this charcoal bamboo fleece-lined EcoAble diaper is extremely absorbent.  Just in case you think it is no match for your heavy wetter, there is an extra pocket behind the sewn in liner for you to add extra make it perfect for your personal needs.

Ecoable's Velcro AIO diapers cost $16.50. I cannot wait to add more of these wonderful fluffs to my stash. I would happily house nothing but Ecoable diapers if I could.
